Robert Kostecka

Recognized by Washingtonian Magazine as one of the Washington D.C. region’s top family law attorneys, Robert Kostecka handles all aspects of family law, including divorce, property division, property settlement agreements, support, and pre-nuptial agreements.

Mr. Kostecka also practices in the areas of Commercial Litigation, Estate Planning, Corporate Tax Planning, Corporate Law, Commercial Litigation and Construction Litigation.  Mr. Kostecka’ s extensive background as a business attorney offers him the unique ability to handle even the most complex financial and business issues that rise from divorce.   Mr. Kostecka has been retained by many other domestic attorney’s to assist with the complex valuation and business matters that arise in divorce.

Previously Mr. Kostecka acted as general counsel to a public corporation involved in the telecommunications industry which has a market cap in excess of $100,000,000.00, and in excess of 50 employees.

Earning his law degree with honors from George Washington University in 1986, Mr. Kostecka is admitted to practice law in Maryland, the District of Columbia and the United States District Court for the District of Maryland.  Mr. Kostecka is a member of the Montgomery County Bar Association, Maryland Bar Association, American Bar Association and District of Columbia Bar Association.
